I have heard of some people pulling as much as 2-3 times revenue. However, they accomplish this by using brokers that focus on selling to people that have no experience in hosting. They package the company as a regular offline business and market it.

The Alabanza staff that were there probably specialized in server administration and networking. I'm not sure you would have wanted them packing the servers which is something a shipping company should handle for you.

It was a success for Navis - which handled the move for Navisite. Navis sounds like they did a great job completing the task that Navisite paid them for - moving all of the servers. That's definitely about the 2007 Halloween migration.
