same here, (even the liquid web part) but I got a phone call today telling me how much I owe them. Alabanza was the worst mistake of my life. Even 21 years of divorce seems pleasant when compared to navisite.

Our one virtual server is down but the old dual pIII box is doing just fine -- oops no control panels there either, and no DSM.

I did not get the email (I never do)

Even though they have taken a hit from this fiasco (and what is up with investors? I would take every cent out of this white elephant ((If I had a cent left))) ...they are still reporting millions in profits. They could take a couple of rupee and outsource some more techs so my effen hold time would...

We do have a clue. Call the regular support number and you get right through, call the alabanza number (it takes forever) or talk to any of the staff assigned to ala-customers and you will hear it. "they have a very limited number of people" Navi-management is making it happen this way. Well, when t...

Is anyone's service back to normal yet? I realize that is a loaded question. But not only are my servers constantly going down, the mail just won't work, we cannot get support, the Account Manager is worthless, I am not getting any responses to backup requests, but there is a serious increase in fra...

I'm not suggesting you ambush anybody (or telling you otherwise ) just advising anyone who cares to do what you have to do; so that you can speak about it intelligently later (if you should have to) I just wrote down the date and time, who I spoke to, and a bit of shorthand for her hollow promise --...

Someone here on alahosts called it Navispite and I really liked that one. I have even posted response to blogs with that pseudonym. I've been down all day today, the emergency@guys keep closing the ticket saying that "it's running" but it can't even be reached from my other server... same story diff...

it's possible a blade went down so it takes precedent. My host.rosserver is a virtual s. on a blade (it goes down every night and the /usr partition fills up almost every day. It has gone down again and there is no one at navisite that even cares. They all tell a different story, they won't take a ...

The specs I saw on the new platform says that our network connection speed (per virtual server) is limited to 1mb. I guess that's throttling, and it is not what I signed up for.

The truth is always the best policy I am very frank about the problems with my customers and they appreciate the honesty. I like the idea of a log/timeline style narrative with the insiders point-of-view. They (navisite) probably just think of us as ignorant, angry, and unreasonable linux pee-ons. I...

I had gotten this from my AM in response to my request: "RBLs have been installed by our sys admins on both of your servers." But, there were absolutely no RBL's of any kind anywhere. I guess they got put on someone elses boxes by mistake (They would not have lied to me) Same spit -- different day! ...

I had contacted my AM and had ala install the RBL's for me. I have noticed no difference in the amount of spam and we are still getting periodically blocked by comcast. I can't even find where ala put this. 1) where does ala put this information? (since the sendmail.cf is supposedly off limits) 2) w...

I have actually had a couple customers ask to have the osCommerce removed as they didn't have the skills to develop their own template and it took lots of space. Miva runs great on these boxes and alabanza actually supports it (slo-o-o-owly) One site owner installed his own CommerceSQL cart and swea...
