Stats files

Post by mbodamer » Wed Mar 09, 2011 7:19 am

hi guys,
the old ala platform put stats in the stats folder. is this the same for cpanel? I move all my stuff to cpanel and I see tons of stats but nothing seems to be there after the move, yet when i go to awstats i see the current stats which leads me to believe cpanel doesnt put it in the same place.

the end result is, can i safely delete the "stats" folder from all my accounts. since I moved a few years ago noone needs stats from prior to the move for sure.

this is all coming about becuase my /backup is 80% full. if I delete the stats from all my accounts will it reduce the /backup size?

thanks in advance.

Yes, delete the stats folder. they're no longer valid. This will reduce backup size.

Stats are locate in /home/username/tmp/ folder on cpanel.

Nothing better to do.

Also old_logfiles folder on root directory. Cpanel's logfiles are in /home/user/access-logs directory
